ARA opened for a show with the fabulous Bucharest Drinking Team and Vana Mazi. On one song we all played together, somehow squeezing onto the stage of the Olympia Ballroom.

The 2013 Thurston County Fair was officially opened by the Artesian Rumble Arkestra.

HONK Fest West - Day 3

On the last day, each band played 10 minutes outside the Seattle Art Museum.  Beforehand, we posed for a group photo.

Honk Fest West - Day 2

For the first time ever, HONK Fest combined forces with the Fremont Solstice Parade.  ARA marched along with the Hooty Hoops 2 miles in the hot sun and then played a short show in Gasworks Park.

Mel Swartz Memorial

Mel Swartz was one of the stalwarts of the Friday peace vigil in Olympia that Artesian Rumble has played weekly for years.  When he passed away at the age of 82, the Arkestra was invited to play his memorial service reception.  Since this was a celebration of his life, and there was a request for New Orleans tunes, our costume call was for "Dixieland Festive".

Westsiders take costume calls seriously
