Interfaith Works

Interfaith Works, a group of local faith communities that work together to help the needy, asked us to play for their annual fundraiser.

Fall Artswalk

Just before we headed to the Fall Artswalk, while playing our regular dock jam session to support the peace sign-holders, a rainbow appeared.

Dance Oly Dance

We played the music for Dance Oly Dance, our local cable TV show.  The crowd was awesome!

Town Hall

Richard gathered a huge group of professional musicians to play the Love Medley outside Congressman Brian Baird's Town Hall meeting on health care.  Our goal: keep people civil, regardless of their views.

We finally voted on a name - we are now the Artesian Rumble Arkestra!

The band goes on a retreat to jam, party, and figure things out.

Roller Derby Halftime

The band played the halftime show of our local derby team, the Oly Rollers.  We dubbed ourselves, "The Oly Strollers."

Our first Honk Fest!  We temporarily named ourselves the Olympian Free Radicals, and squeezed ourselves into the corner of the vegan restaurant Squid and Ink.

MLK March

Our very first gig was to enliven the March to End Poverty on MLK day to the capitol building.  The new "Olympia Marching Band" and the Peace Bandits joined forces.  We made beautiful musical babies together, so we joined forces.
